Whatever it is, the way you would do it for yourself may it be done for others…
SWedish makeover -
This project holds a special place in our hearts because it was more than just a renovation—it was an opportunity to help a wonderful couple bring a piece of their home and heritage from Sweden into their life here in San Diego.
Our clients were a retired couple who had made their way from Sweden to San Diego. They had a very specific vision for their home, and the husband was especially determined that the kitchen cabinets had to be IKEA. He knew exactly what he wanted, and we were committed to making his vision a reality.
For those who have worked with IKEA cabinetry, you know that the process can be very different from traditional cabinetry. The cabinets require detailed planning, careful assembly, precise installation, and a different approach than what is typically used in the industry. There were definitely challenges along the way, but we were fortunate to partner with an experienced professional installation team who helped us navigate the process.
What made this project so meaningful was the trust our clients placed in us. There were moments when we faced unexpected hurdles and had to find solutions together, but we never lost sight of the finish line. We believe that when you make a commitment to a client, you see it through—not just until things get difficult, but all the way to the end.
The project included updated flooring, blinds, IKEA cabinetry, garage improvements, new tile, and granite countertops. Each detail helped bring the home closer to the vision our clients had in their hearts.
At the end of the day, we weren't just updating a house. We were helping a couple create a home that reflected where they came from, who they are, and the life they built here in San Diego.
That is what makes this work so rewarding for us. We don't just build spaces—we build relationships, honor our clients' stories, and finish what we start.
